I installled progeny for the second time on another system and I love the installer. Once I install it I should be able to convert it to a potato or woody. Is it worth it? Or would there be to many broken dependecies? Progeny should be the installer for potato and woody. Anyone try

Garl, I think I would start seeing dropped frames with multiple processes. Most of the bottleneck is probably in the drives, but you'd have to experiment. You may need more space though. My mpeg2's were averaging 65mb/min and avi's were twice that. For tv viewing you may not need that
