works and I'm sick of this stuff. People have told me on
the telephone that email sent to my address bounces. Mail Box full.
I can't figure out to empty it.
Sorry I don't know what went wrong.

Darn these graphic heavy sites, complicating life.
I recently followed these instructions. At least the download, that

The next part not so.
Unpackage the file.
From where? I downloaded it into the user directory I was in,
home/prime/ etc.
Now what, go into console and
Wasn't able to be there Thursday night, nut maybe next week.
Now that I've got a new hard drive, some things have to be done
over, and installing Real Player seems to one of them.

Here's a radio station which requires Quicktime to listen to. Can't
do that with LINUX, AFAIK.

As long as I'm writing about glitches, here's another.
I went to a commercial site (Lane Bryant, where my wife has an
account) which told me I needed something called Flash player.
I went to the site, and downloaded the software for Linux.

I checked this site. They don't give an email address, you have to
fill out the form and hit "submit." I did. May be possible to run
on my old 486, though I'd like to beef it up some. Keep in mind all
I wanted was to run a client, visit one of their hotline sites, look

I hope there is an easy answer for this one. Recently I received an

I wonder. Netscape worked okay in the other user on my machine.
KFM works okay, does not become slow or freeze up. Wonder if the
Netscape file on my user ate a bad cookie? I could not find any
useful hints for cleaning cookies off my disc but there is other

Hi all,
I was having this problem with my system becoming increasingly
slower, and it's only gotten worse.
Currently, what happens is, the system seems to work okay off line,
until I get on line, then it gets slow. I've been using KFM as a
browser because it seems to work without suspending.

o use them. I did well in the computer programming course I
took (back in 1985), and I think I can still learn. I'd like to
make the most of what time I spend using this machine.
Maybe I'll see you all next Thursday. I'll be the one with the big
grin.
