My 2 cents:
Headhunters are just a step above phone solicitors, politicians, and spam
e-mailers. I remember making the mistake of posting my resume online once,
and eventually having to get Caller ID to avoid the massive amounts of calls
I got from headhunters who wanted to place me in
Seth,
You certainly make a good point, however we always have the option of doing
something about problems :)

Jamie, I did say:
The FIRST time a non-linux/non-unix job posting hits this list, I'd request
the list admin to block the address. If Clairemarie will swear an oath to
only post Oregon jobs with Linux or Unix related skills, I'd live with it,
and grit my teeth, since it would on
I agree with seth.
On the Corvallis list, we had a long pile of useless
noise posted.
so for our list, I said that I would filter for her
and make sure it had high relevance to the local group.

euglug.org for those who are interested. Other NW linux groups could be

I'm inclined to say "OK", but I'll put it to the list for feedback
(cc: Clairemarie, of course).

Well,
Send job info, not lists, offers or pay-for-service gigs to ME and I'll

capers, olives and downright rip-off's.
