Internal relay test

2004-01-12 Thread Boyd, Nathan

Powercontrols

2004-01-06 Thread Boyd, Nathan
I need to restore 5 mailboxes over three different periods of time. The Exchange restore server was recently taken away for a different project, so rather than recreating the restore environment I thought it a good time to try Powercontrols. I have used it before and liked it. Ok long

Outsourcing email?

2003-12-22 Thread Boyd, Nathan
List,   What do you think of using an outsourced Spam service like Postini?   For our environment it is a choice of using Postini internally (via existing Trend IMSS) or sending all mail via Postini.   What do people think of sending mail to another service?  Personally I have concerns with SEC

These types of fights happen every few months on this list, and they are always aired in public. The resulting witch hunts can go too far, we should try and stop the insults when personal slurs are made at people's reputations. No individual becomes a winner or loser, just the list as good

I am a fellow Exchange 5.5 customer who is thinking about migrating to 2000 or 2003 next year. The question is related to Microsoft ceasing support of 5.5 at the end of next year, and how others are managing their migrations because of it. We have a native 2000 AD network with a half dozen or so
