Subject: mail relay
I have a few users that are being used as a mail relay. They get returned
mail from sites and other domains that the message they sent has an virus
or they get an NDR message. They have never emailed these people nor do
they have any idea why
-mail account here was not infected with a virus. All because of those
stupid messages.

If you are using 2 EX 5.5 servers in one site and using MTA to transfer mail
from system to system in the same site,
can you configure just one server to SEND mail outbound, reguardless of what
home server the user is using?
Or does it depend on what mail system the user is using as their SMTP
Uh... yeah. Have just one IMS. The MTA does not send out SMTP mail.

Dear All,
We have started getting some low life relaying hundreds of 'questionable'
mails thru our Exchange Server. I've set routing restrictions so that only
authenticated users can route mail, and this stops it fine.
However, we have 5 remote sites, 4 of which have local Exchange Servers
.
