I've got one of these on a box we use for test installs. It's done it
on everything from MDK to RH through SuSe. Any time I use the eject
command I have to have one hand immediately there to grab the tray. I'm
convinced the only cure is dropping this dang thing out a window.

Hi Stefano, I've discover that if you have a open window that calls indirectly
to the cdrom, like if you are seeying (sorry if it's mispelled) the /mnt dir
with konqueror, it will close. You just have to close the windows open that
calls for the cdrom(or be fast enough to get the CD out :) ). I

AFAIK, Kwikdisk only shows non-SM controlled devices. Go to MCC>Mount
Points>CD Burner/CD Rom>Options (click ok)>
Then uncheck the box that says "supermount" and check the boxes that say
"no auto" and "user".
After saving the changes, reboot the system and supermount will be off.
