I've noticed that when you post links they are never clickable, which is kind
of annoying because the links have to be copied and pasted instead of just
clicked on.
Or, you could just use the fourth button from the left in the Rich Text
Editor toolbar, highlight the URL, and then paste the same URL into
the resulting popup. This is a fairly standard feature of Rich Text
editors, which figure that people wouldn't be using them if they
weren't capable of

Thanks, that's also true. Basically, if it's your habit to just plunk a URL
into the message area and hit send, do us all a favor and switch to plain text.
Otherwise, be a mensch and use the URL format button to manually make links
clickable.

That's never been my experience with yahoo email, Alex. I can create
hyperlinks only in rich text (I just did a test using plain text and it
still does not work). As I said to Judy, the hyperlink used to appear
automatically when an http type of address was keyed into yahoo email
via the rich text
Might be because you're using an old version of Yahoo Mail. I switched to the
new version when it came out a few months ago, and the two test posts I sent
via email clearly show what happens when a URL is simply plunked in the message
area and sent. The link in the plain text mail was
