Who doesn't think their Internet and cable bills are too high? For years
now, I've been tracking the stories asking why we in the U.S. seem to be
perennial sufferers of a certain chronic syndrome: Bills too high, Internet
speed too slow.
Why your cable bills are so
The good thing about Comcast trying to buy Time Warner Cable is that it
has brought this issue to the forefront which is something I can be the
dummies who run Comcast didn't expect. The discussion has gone VERY

Everyone hates taxation - there's a tax on your earned income; a tax on
your property; on your gas and oil; on the car that you drive to work; and
on tobacco, beer and pot - next they'e be wanting to put a tax on your
seat. It's just outrageous.

The host asked him if he was for a flat tax. He said no but he was for
tax simplification. Our federal tax system is TOO DAMN COMPLEX! He said

Increasingly, experts in health insurance are becoming concerned that many
of these first-time buyers will be in for a shock when they get medical
care next year and discover they're on the hook for most of the initial

Taking care of all these cars can really keep a guy busy. There are
maintenance costs; keeping them garaged; make sure they are clean inside
and out and shiny; paying the State inspections and payments to the tax
assessor; and there's oil and gas to buy. Just keeping the right amount of

Vata mantras? Are you saying rahm or rum?
The mantra ram(rum) is the bhuta bija of fire.
So what are you talking about?
Those are the ayurvedic mantras. Ram (rhymes with palm) is recommended
to pacify vata. Try it yourself.

We've been drinking coffee for years. We know a couple that drive all the
way to the north side to get their beans. They claim that the beans they
get are fresher, roasted on the spot. And, it's true, the beans they get
are great, but they cost nearly $10.00. Whenever we're on that side of town

noozguru, zero Starbuck's in FF! Actually it's kind of fun to play with the
strange fact: does Starbuck's coffee secretly contain an ingredient that makes
a person vote Democratic? Or maybe there's a subliminal something happening at
Starbucks such that one is hypnotized into voting Democratic.
noozguru, I could be wrong about some of this, but isn't electricity out west
generated from dams?! And aren't the dams part of the reason there's a water

We tried to use less water by:
