Another film that showed up this weekend on Netflix WI is Grabbers
which is an Irish comedy sci-fi monster film. The residents of an
island find they have to get drunk to repel attacks by alien monsters
because the monsters don't like people with alcohol in their blood.
There is also a homage to Gremlins in it.

 recommend it.

Maybe the dramatic tension comes from the fact that the percentage of alcohol
needed to repel the aliens is just over the legal limit. What to do, what to
do? Up the legal limit? Allow the aliens to take over?

It's distributed by IFC so hard to say. If they get independent films
the ONE copy they get might prove popular. I read the other day that
many of the independent film distributors are doing only a run of 2000
DVDs where they used to do 10,. Otherwise you can rent it from
Amazon or VUDU or iTunes. In fact I watched the trailer looking for new
releases on Amazon but happened to note Netflix had added it and I was
able to watch it in 1080p with Chromecast. It was a good film to see in
1080p because the bright sunlit landscapes of the island were a good
test for that resolution. It might eventually show up on Hulu.

They're building 5 new SV homes in Utopia Park, all really close to each other, as I found out yesterday when I read the Ledger. It will be really interesting to see whether or not they are all facing East, because if they are they're all going to be facing directly into UP, not exactly the most inspiring view in the world.

Other than that, imo, meditating is better than not meditating,
regardless of the direction.

That's probably why it wasn't made a part of the TM instruction in that
it is better to have people meditating than not meditating because they
could not find a convenient spot to face east or north.

People who want to live near the domes are fast becoming one of the most extinct species on the planet, Bob.

But you could very well be right about UP--while the park itself looks OK, some of the trailers have become a real eyesore, old and dilapidated. But anyway, I did mosey on over there this morning to see, and, sure enough, all of them are facing east, the front ones right into a row of trailers, the back ones into the front ones. I sure hope whoever buys them likes his neighbors a lot--the houses are *real* close together, with just a few feet between them. Anything resembling a yard is pretty much out.

Why don't you truck on over and take a look, when you have the chance? Maybe I'm missing something that you might be able to see, but it sure looks pretty cramped to me. Also, the foundations are really small.
