Michael,
I am so sorry for your loss. You fought so hard,
and valiantly.
What a wonderful guardian you are, looking after
this sweet kitty.
In your time of sorrow please try to picture

Dear
Michelle,
Just wanted to let you know I have
been thinking about all you are going thru with your
babies.
I know how hard it is when only one
becomes ill, but the fact that Ginger, Fern and Pepsi all have needs to be
addressed at this time is so sad.
I have not seen any recent posts
I am sorry you lost your angel Akira. My Fantasia passed over last year on August 14,2004 from FeLv and Diabetics after four years of fighting to stay here.

Barbara, My Fantasia had Felv since 1999 and I have eight other cats and I never keep them away from each other. They ate together and drank water out of the same bowls. Played together. All I did was get them tested and made sure they got there vaccines or titer tests. Hope you decide to keep

Seems like I recall sugar and borax powder, mixed together, in little jar
lids under the sink etc.. The roaches are drawn to the sugar, but the
borax gets them. Anybody know about this one?

Lisa,
I am soo sorry to hear that you lost Akira. I don't know what to say. I've
been praying every night for her, and was hoping for a miracle. I'm soo
upset. It breaks my heart.
Lisa, I pray for you that you may find comfort, and have great memories of
Akira.
Both of you were strong.

When I
moved from Chicago to Houston, I was ill-prepared for the bugs I'd encounter
here! Essentially, this area is home to cockroaches (albeit, *clean*
cockroaches...although that doesn't make me feel any better about them) that

alright, don't laugh--i was told years ago that if you put orange

Hi Group,
Can't think too clearly at the moment, but I think we're
going to lose Digby. Having to syringe feed him now and give
Doxycycline. Blood work (according to the vet lab) seems to be indicating
something going on in the bone marrow,may/may not beHemobart.
They also say there's a
GLOW to all of you; i'm sorry.
i don't know if we can EVER be sure when the time is right, but i now
ask them to tell me when they are ready to go, and then try to listen
to THEM and not my own desire to keep them with me

Hi there. I was reading the archives and saw some familiar names so maybe some of you remember me. I was subscribed under my old email so "andyandmouse" may sound more familiar. Anyway, my name is Jamie and my Felv positive boy is Andy. I was an active member of the List (and used toadminister

Oh Lisa, I am so sorry. There is nothing I can say to add to what you've written. What a special lifetime you two shared together, even though it was too short. I have been thinking about you, and I hope you know everyone is here for you even though we can't actually be with you in person.

Hi Jamie,
There are still a few of us old-timers around and every so often I've thought about you and wondered how you and your family were doing. I'm so sorry you had to come back with bad news. From what you say about what's going on with Andy, I would think some kind of lymphoma or other
Hi Marlene -
I am so sorry to hear your situation with Digby. I know what you
mean. With my kitties, there's a point at which I find I'm not comfortable
putting stress on them with forcing food, meds, on them. With my
Calawalla, I regret taking her to the emergency vet - he did all these
that's be my guess, too--that, or that he's so confused about the
change in the energy in the house--and the grief--that he doesn't know
how to deal with it and wants away from it

Welcome back Jaime,
I'm so sorry that Andy isn't doing well. I had hopes since we hadn't heard from you that he was doing well.
Only you can make that choice on whether to let him go or keep making the trips to the Vets. He is your special baby he knows that you have tried doing good for him. I
