i am so sorry.  I know how devastating this is.I did have a young Persian (not FIV or FELV) die after a spay.  She was very sweet, healthy, less than a year old.  I talked with another vet about it, and check with the Persian list for their opinion.  I think the vet office did not pay proper

If he is very obese, there is an increased risk of complications from the sedation used during his neuter surgery. Hopefully your vet is aware and careful, and it wont be an issue. I've found that Innova Lite (in the orange bag) is the best lite cat food for obese cats, they really lose weight

Hello all, I wanted to let you know I will be having surgery tomorrow. Won't be able to have access to emails due to being in a wheelchair and in bed. I'm having reconstructive surgery on my left foot. Dr. says I won't be able to walk for at least 2-4 weeks. If I do try to I could cause damage

I don't know what you should do... but depending on how BADLY she reacts to the vet trips I would go for the biopsy if possible. Also, have you considered the possibility that there is a battle waging over the litterbox? You might try putting 1 or 2 in different places. Litterbox

Thanks. She is doing better at this point, so far, now is actually a bit constipated. I had postponed the specialist visit to Tuesday, and if she is still doing better tomorrow I am going to cancel it (I can reschedule in the future if needed). I have two litterboxes for the two positives
