I'm so sorry to hear that. Wonder if something else could be causing the diarrhea, like giardia or something? Just thought I'd mention it. Will sure be thinking of Bernie - best of luck, Gloria --- Original Message --- From: Maria[mailto:mian...@gmail.com] Sent: 2/16/2010

More sad news to add to the rest of the sad news out there. Frosty Paws and I have an appointment for 4:30 tomorrow at our vet's. I think it is time to let him go, and I refuse to let him suffer needlessly. We all know how our FeLV kids can suffer at the end. So I believe I'm doing the right

It is kind of hard to say if anything can be done for him as we don't have a clue what is wrong with him. If he is severely anemic, it could be cause by the FeLV or it might be Hemobartonella, which is very curable. I have had luck on two anemic FeLV positive kittens using Acemannan. If he

Well, I just got off the phone with the woman who rescued him, and she told me some things I hadn't known about. First of all, she said he'd frequently been sick:  lethargic, lifeless, with labored breathing. She didn't know he was positive at the time. And I thought she'd had him for just a

GLOW for both all of you. have you asked frosty paws what he wants? let him know that you'd to have him stay with you, but that it's okay if what he needs is to go on--sometimes i think they stay longer than they might have, just to keep us happy. he'll tell you if he's ready to go on, and if so,

I don't understand why people don't tell you the full story. I run into that all the time in rescue. She may have just been afraid you wouldn't take him. I wish you the best tomorrow. Beth Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry -Original Message- From: LauraM

Could he have a heart problem? Asthma? Does he still want to eat? When Keisha was in cardiac trouble (congestive heart failure) she did not want to eat. Asthmatics will choose breathing over eating (my Teddy). L -Original Message- From: felvtalk-boun...@felineleukemia.org
