Hello - For those of you with multi-cat households, I was wondering what your vet has recommended in terms of re-testing for FELV in the negative cat. I have 1 positive and 1 negative that have been living together for over a year now. I have been advised to re-test the negative cat once a year

I did a little research on the board for mycoplasma and I noticed that it does seem to be prevalent (as far as i can see from the mailing list) in felv+ cats. My vet suggested I have my felv+ kitty tested. For those of you that have experience with Mycoplasma, can you tell me what symptoms your

My cat had similar issues when we first got him. Get a fecal exam done. Bernie had worms when we found out he was felv+, after he was on meds for that, his diarrhea was better but not totally gone. We did interferon and prescription canned food. That helped. I am now back on dry food, but I

I recently had Brady re-tested for felv, 3 1/2 months after we brought our felv+ kitten into the same household. Brady tested negative on the snap test! The vet told us as long as we keep up with his boosters, he should be fine. We will not test again for felv. Brady was 1 year 3 months when he

Thank you for all of your opinions and advice. I went ahead with the feline distemper vaccination. Bernie has been totally fine since The vet's plan was to do another shot in 1 month and the final shot a month after that. I think once the kitten series is done, I may stop. Bernie is an
