That's good to hear! I know Ewok's prognosis, statistically, isn't
good...so it always helps to hear about success stories with other FeLV+
cats! There's no harm in hoping that

There is a specific cat named Sambe, Mom is Stacy, she is
extremely busy and doesn't post often, but her Samba is FeLV positive
and is going strong last I heard about a month or so ago. They are in
Kansas. I believe he has lymphoma, he was diagnosed right after my
Buddie and I lost Buddi
Jen,
I must have missed this. I'm hoping Ewok responds well to treatment. Is he positive?

Thanks for that reminder about the different lymphomas. My Mittens
had mediastinal lymphoma, and did last and do well for a while.
Calawalla, I think had multicentric lymphoma and it was indeed quite
different, and I never quite got the hang of the name, so your
reminder helps. Gloria

Jen, be aware that Simon had multicentric lymphoma, which is the kind least responsive to chemo and also the kind that people normally detect later due to absence of palpable masses and due to it not affecting behavior until it spreads from the lymph nodes into the liver or bone marrow. Simon g

Blessings on Ewok. My Effie woke me up
one morning with labored breathing and had chemo that day. She had
mediastinal lymphoma. She responded quickly to the chemo, and went
into remission. Continued chemo kept her chipper for seven wonderful

Jen,
Mediastinal lymphoma, or lymphoma in the chest cavity, is, I think, the most responsive kind of lyomphoma to chemotherapy, and I have heard of many good results. I hope that he gets at least a year. Please keep us updated, as there are many different things to try with chemo. Are you on
