Cherie,
I'm relieved to hear Sprinkles is home where she belongs. Did you tell

she won't be so quick to pump babies full of meds they don't need!

Tonya,
Thanks for asking, I did get Sprinkles today...it was a long boring ride to Wisconsin, but we made it through. I had my vet check her out and he said it looks like an injury not ringworm. I am not sure if I can explain it, she is a silver Persian and on her tummy by her left leg is brownish

I don't really know the answer to that one, but I don't think so. My positive always has good bloodwork. I think even with good bloodwork a positive is just more susceptible to disease. I'm glad Killian's feeling better though!

I couldn't sleep tonight so I got a flash light and look again in the wooded area behind my house. I found my baby he has been dead for a couple days. His body was wet from rain we had over the weekend. I don't know how he died but it looks like maybe dogs or a car hit him. I am so overwhelmed with

No, I don't think so. I do not think FeLV immune suppression means white
blood cell suppression. In fact, when positive cats have infections, their
WBC count is usually high, just like other cats. There are all sorts of
different kinds of immune cells-- B cell, T cells, etc. FeLV suppresse
The vet left us a message to let us know that Killian's bloodwork came back normal. Her white blood cell count is normal. Now, does this mean that she can fight infection just as effectively as a felv negative cat?
