Susan I'm so sorry for your loss of your precious cat, Autumn. I bet she was orange. I once had an orange Autumn, too. Sound like you and she were very bonded and shared a lot. Re: [Felvtalk] Autumn the cat
Susan, So sorry to hear of Autumn's passing!! I'm so glad though that you loved and cared for her like you did. It takes someone like you with a big heart that gave her a chance at life and a good life even though it was cut too short. My kitten passed at age 9mos. I was heart-broken as well. I wish there was a cure for this disease. Until then, we just have to continue to give them the best life possible, just as you did! By the way, I have an Autumn girl but she is a red dachshund. She turns 14 Christmas Eve. We love her dearly and I so love the name as you do. Many blessings & hugs to you~ Lynda - Original Message - From: Susan Ang To: Felvtalk@felineleukemia.org Sent: Tuesday, November 08, 2011 6:33 AM Subject: [Felvtalk] Autumn the cat My cat Autumn died last night due to complications arising from Feline Leukemia. Re: [Felvtalk] Autumn the cat
Oh Susan I'm so very, very sorry! Autumn was lucky to live and be loved at your home. I've had one cat die of FeLV and seen other 3 that were my ferals be stricken the same way. Right now we've Tiger who I adopted out and had to bring back because owner couldn't care for him, he's also FeLV+ and at the point of no return though he's a happy cat. FeLV is so frustrating and takes them when they are young many times. Sweet Autumn is looking over you.
