I set up a Drum Set staff using the wizard. The snare drum notes don't enter

simple entry, toggle the up and down arrows until it reads Snare Drum,
press ENTER to insert a note, the correct notehead is displayed, but the

OK, as a cue that makes sense. There's such a cue in King I

Finale makes it easy to reduce to 10% or enlarge to 999%. At some
point, we need to have the

Under PluginsScoring and Arranging run the Score System Dividers
plugin. Do this ONLY once the layout is completely done and nudged,
and they WILL appear on linked parts, so you may have to hide them
all except in the score, unless you have a separate file for linked
parts.

I'm keeping older eyes in mind. That's precisely why I asked if I could

so that a page turn is made easier, if not perfect. I'd prefer to keep the
larger staff size, rather than reducing it another 5 or 10% so that I can

Earlier versions of Finale may not have this plugin (I'm on 2004, which
doesn't), but I've been using Jari's JW Score System Divider plugin for
years and I'm very happy with it. Is the one that ships with Finale the

Yes, you can,
Font annotation (.fan) files have been moved to Library/Application
Support/Make Music, so I assume that is where to keep newly created ones (I
need them for Bill Duncan's Chord Symbol and Salzedo fonts), but once the new

Hi Darcy,
That did it. I didn't know how to find the right place to put the new .fan
files. Program Options seemed to be looking for them in the User/Library, but
I had found a Font Annotation folder in the root level/Application Support/Make
Music folder, so I tried putting them there -
