I suppose adding at the bottom and reordering on by-system basis achieves
the result. But I am not happy about being unable to add staves in the
proper order. So yesterday I added a "cache/restore" feature to my plugins.
It allows you to cache your systems before adding staves/instruments and

If you're on a recent version of Finale, go to Edit Group in the Staff Tool.
Select Hide Staves Normally for the group (rather than Only Hide when All
Staves are empty.) Now the "Hide Empty Staves" command in the Staff Tool should
work as you expect.
If you are on an earlier version of Finale,
You don’t say which version of Finale, or which platform. But it sounds like a
Hide Empty Staves or Optimized staves situation. If you own TGTools you can
fix it with Staff List Manager.
I had a similar issue with staves not showing up in a file I’d been working on

I am prepping a score with 8 instruments. On most of the Grand Piano part i

years ago but can’t remember how. Any help?
Also the goal is page reduction.

Thank you very much, Jan! I can't begin to imagine how much work you
put into those, and when I'm a little bit more flush with cash I intend
to make a donation to support your work!

I have updated the free Elbsound Music Font Package to v1.1.
It now includes 25 music fonts for Finale that are 100% compatible with
Maestro.
The update includes four new fonts, 16 new composite symbols and a few
minor optimizations in spacing and kerning. The fonts can be applied to
any Finale
Hi, I’m transcribing a piano piece for a string quartet. I have six staves.
Four strings plus a grand staff in the bottom for the piano part, so I can just
see it while I write the string parts, but both piano staves are muted In the
Score Manager Window so they don’t sound in the playback.
