Roger,
/X is only for a bass note, as in Bb/C (Bb over C = Csus). Do you
mean:
C ?
Bb7
Then a Bb13 (#11) should be appropriate.

This did the trick! Thank you very much. I had a look at the midi files in
nuendo's editor, but found nothing special. Never suspected the note lengths.

thanks for the answer. I could send you some midi files that won't work for

Hi,
When I import a midi file into Finale, the drums won't appear. Finale is
creating a drums staff, but it remains empty. I tried this out using
several midi files. The pity is the main reason ARE the drums - I am
arranging some funk stuff and hoped I could take the drums out of a midi
file

I don't understand all the people who don't think they need Finale's EPS
output.
1. First of all, it's freely scalable, without quality loss. You find out
that your TIFF has not the right size. If you had used an EPS that wouldn't
be a problem. half size? double size? 800%?
2. It's smaller
Amen!
I had it working some years ago, some Finale versions and maybe Windows
versions earlier. Each time Coda brings out a new version of Finale, I hope
that they would have it fixed... I really think it is more than
unprofessional to promise and include such a function when it does not work!
I think the Technical font of Windows is quite similar?

A difficult question. In german we have an expression E-Musik (ernste
Musik) (serious music). Well? What about Mozart?
I think as long as we look at baroque, classic and romantic music, it is
obvious. In the 20th century there are problems. Up to dodecaphonic and
serial music, it is clear. But

Hi,
My Laserjet 2100M is getting old (making troubles), and I think it is time
to replace it.
I have some wishes:

PS (PCL, too, if possible)
Resolution 1200 dpi or similar
So far, I have found the following models:

Epson C4000 ps
C4100 ps
Minolta
some more.
I have been using Finale a lng time and I can do everything I want

Hi,
I just played around with Sibelius (Win XP), and, as someone had told, EPS
export works perfectly! Fonts ok, scalable perfectly, TIF preview as
expected, everything behaved as it should. I chose normal EPS, and there
are a lot of graphic format selections. Printed fine on my LaserJet 2100
Can anyone tell me why this is not planned for PC? I have been waiting for
about ten years now for EPS output working AGAIN in Finale - after it HAD
worked in early versions... I belive there are more PC users than Mac users
out there, so Coda - please...
