Thanx, Lawrence;
Now I got it!
I stopped playback right after Saving Special since I thought it is some mulfu
nction.
I was too impatient. I will try later.
Thank you again.
The pieces are saved in real time - Finale plays back the music and you have
to wait until it has all played before you

What does it mean? And what is the solution for that?
I think that this is Finale searching
A clarification: This is only if you use the GPO sounds. Saving as audio
using SoftSynth instruments doesn't require playback.

I also had a problem with this. It eventually worked for me, but I had to
accept the error several times. Each time, the download would pick up where
it left off. I think I was able to download it after 4 or 5 errors. Hope
that's helpful. Good luck.

A document crashes each time I try to import a grapic. Sad thing is: It's the
last entry on the page. Would anyone have any ideas on the cause or any help on
the matter. I'm running win2006.
Thanks,

What is the size of the finale file? What is the file size of the
graphic?
Hi everyone!

This question is about the slurs under the editorial dagger marks.
Right now, I have standard slurs in the measures.
But I'm having a bit of hard time figuring out how to change the dash
effect for a slur. The default setting doesn't

For dotted slurs, I use these settings:
Thickness0.00998
Dash Length 0.04861
Dash Space 0.02431
Hook Length 0.04167
They look fine to me!
My question is: how do I get to the dialogue box to edit these settings?
Thanks much!

Kim,
I think you solved the problem with David's help. However, one more tip:
The brackets for the wedges are too large. They waste a lot of space,
and in addition the distance to the wedges is not the same.
(I am also not crazy about your slur settings, I must say, the slurs
above actually

But I'm not happy with that. The problem is that they aren't just
broken-up slurs -- they're plain old lines, so they aren't thicker in
the center. This is very bad, in my opinion.
On the other hand it is exactly what most editions I have seen, use. If
