You can make it yourself. In Maestro, the 'r' character is in slot 142, and
the 'fz' character is Z. In the Text Expression Designer dialog, make your

Hello. I would like to know if anyone on the list uses Windows Finale with 2 or more
monitors. If so, how does Finale's MDI interface work in this context? When I run
WinFin, I don't picture how I could view two Finale docs on two different monitors
without dragging the Finale app window across
I had a dual monitor system for a while about 2 years ago, and Finale
operated with it in the way you described - you would need to drag the
window across both monitors to display a document on each screen, and even
then there's no quick way to just flip a document over to the other screen (
This is not encouraging news!
I installed the SP2 upgrade yesterday. I have not yet ordered the Finale

Based on what I have read here I am VERY hesitant to invest in a
questionable product. I have always upgraded Finale as soon as new versions
were available. Now I don't know what

I do not have SP2, but from what I've heard it is SP2 which is the

Without SP2, but with WinXPPro the installation went flawlessly.
From what I've read, SP2 doesn't really offer much if you keep your

Making the K a graphic won't work, because the music must extend

Every time I launch FinMac 2K4, it spends several seconds assigning
sounds for internal speaker playback. When I am editing extracted

A Questionable product? Perhaps you shouldn't have installed a
questionable Service Pack from Microsoft...
I'd imagine that the first service update to Finale will address Service
Pack (or crap) 2 problems. You should always make sure software works
with Microsoft Service packs BEFORE

I could be wrong, but I don't think that is the issue. Andrew said the
problem was specifically when he launched Finale. Try one of the following:

You don't need to turn off HP (FYI: Human Playback is a DOCUMENT setting),
but Hal's right, go to MIDI--Internal Speaker Playback--Off.

I create with wizard setup a part for guitar. With Human Playback On

I create a empty staff (default document), I set guitar to instrument, Human

Crystal,
Finale does not support suffixes on alternate bass notes (aka suffixes
on compound chords).
If you would like this functionality, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Meanwhile, the best available kludge (short of buying Bill Duncan's

Dear Crystal,
I think Finale interprets anything after a slash as the bass NOTE,
not another chord. This has been something of a problem in chord
symbols for some time. How do you indicate a polychord rather than a
chord with a foreign bass tone? I don't know the answer.Maybe someone
