An alternative is to save your file as a PDF, then download Adobe Reader 9 and

Yes. Sibelius can copy the layout from one part to another. It's done in the

I also use the booklet feature of Adobe Reader 9 after saving the file as a
PDF. I find that it works very well and is easy to use. Our printer does

I use F2007 on a Mac (10.5.8) and a friend has just asked whether it's
possible to collaborate on notation with him since he uses a PC. He's
willing to buy Finale. My initial response, was: No it's just not
practical, He wanted me to find out how those of you that actually
do this,
As long as you both run the same versions of finale, it works fine.
Oh, and make sure you save mac files with .mus extensions otherwise
windows has a fit.

Finale files are cross-platform. It would be very easy for you to
collaborate. However, you'd both need to be using the same version of
Finale. Since your friend doesn't have Finale, he'll be buying Finale
2010, meaning you'll need to upgrade to that version as well.

For anyone who's on a PC, I highly recommend the utility FinePrint for handling
booklet printing, n-up printing, etc. It's extremely flexible and I guarantee
it will reduce brain cramping when you print booklets. It saves time and
eliminates guesswork whether or not you have a duplexer,
I do it all the time...successfully.
But you have to choose one or the other for the final product.

Unless you are using some custom font, maybe Bill Duncan's

I'm looking for Hauptstimme and Nebenstimme symbols. Can anyone recommend a

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I can't find it in the archives or

Toccata font -- what Fenton said. Not so useless.
If you have Sibelius, full or demo, I think these are included in the
associated fonts.

Hi all,
I made the jump to Snow Leopard (10.6) in the hopes that it would
solve some longstanding problems I've been having with audio dropouts.
However, I think those issues must be hardware-related, as a
completely clean install of 10.6 brings no relief.
Anyway, as far as Finale goes,
Aside from the Garritan issue, does TGTools Pro work ok other than the
known issues it has with Finale 2010? And in other versions of Finale?
