I'm on XP. The measures selected in Fin2008 are darker than in Fin2007, but
there's another difference: in the
Notepad can't produce a file in 5/4.
But it can work with a piece in 5/4: make an empty piece in 5/4 with Finale,
and send it to your friend. Then he can work with it, put in notes, and so

On WinFin2012, I think it hasn't moved. A click on them (in Scroll View)
moves the score one bar left or right.
I often use the Keyboard-shortcut to go to any measure.

In the Staff Styles Window, the transposition and the clef settings have
disappeared (since these settings are to be found in the Score Manager).
I need to set a part as a transposed instrument, but I don't want the
transposition to apply in the Score.
Any ideas?

I just encountered this:
An instrument has to play a low b, but may play it an octave higher. I
entered both notes. As usually (with Finale 2010), I choosed the Resize
Tool, clicked on the higner b, to make this high b smaller.
The unexpected result is that both notes get smaller (this
