Hiro, I don't know it this helps. I find the codes using "Word". I have the version, but I think it's quite the same in the english version: Insert / Special characters Choose the font you wish. Click on the desired character. The code appears at the bottom. To insert the character in Finale (Windows), you need to know the "decimal" code, not the hexadecimal one. Choose that. In Finale, type Alt-xxxx (replace the "x" with the right digits; you need to enter 4 digits).
It works. If someone has a better trick, I'm interested too... Bernard 2007/1/6, A-NO-NE Music <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
I use Keyboard Viewer and Character Pallet from the OSX menu. But I don't know how to get special characters easy on Windows. I have seen people are saying numeric value. How does it work? Windows Character Code Panel is quite difficult to use. It doesn't give you code index num value like Mac does. How do you search in the Unicode character sets? -- - Hiro Hiroaki Honshuku, A-NO-NE Music, Boston, MA <http://a-no-ne.com> <http://anonemusic.com> _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
