Anyone have any luck with syncing Finale to a QuickTime for film
scoring?
It is not clear how to set the offsets so that the Finale knows what
frame starts the beginning of the QuickTime movie, what SMPTE frame is
the start of the cue on the QT and that Finale should start at bar 1.

With trial and error, I figured it out. Now I just wish that Finale
could set tempos that are in fractions, not just whole number, for
example 163.45 bpm.
I chose the QuickTime film using Movie Window from the Window menu.
In the document menu, I opened the Sync Video Options and set:

Finale 2009B you can make up to 8 staff lists but there are also another kind
of expression list. I usually upgrade quickly but have waited due to this
issue.

I have the latest versions of Finale 2007, 2008 and 2009 on my new 2.4 Ghz
Intel Core 2 Duo MacBookPro with OS 10.5.5 with 4 GB of ram. I have Finale
2006 2007 on my G4 dual 1 ghz desktop Mac with OS 10.3.9 with 1.5 GB of ram.
My old G4 1.5 ghz PowerBook laptop had OS 10.4.11 with 1.5 GB
I started working in Finale 2009 since the apparent conflicts between earlier
versions and my new Intel laptop - 2.5 ghz MacBook Pro 17 with 4gb ram on OS
10.5.5. In the percentage tool, when I click to the left of the staff, or
wherever I click, it comes up for adjusting the page size, no
me in (was it Robert? Thanks!)

The composer found someone who actually uses Score. If that person work out,
then I'll only do new score into directly into Finale possibly in the future,

When I use 2 monitors, when I disconnect one, the main tool palette disappears
from view and there is no way to retrieve it. Today I disconnected my 27'
external monitor to use my 17 external monitor

Also, for some reason, the preferences folder will not open and I have been

to be in the Instrument Window and now is in the Playback/Record options Window
in the Playback Controls Window? If that box is not checked, all your
instruments will play piano only and not the individual
Just started using 2006d. Had the 2006 sitting here a long time since I didn't want to upgrade in the middle of projects.
Overall, it is working well. In playback, if I start and stop too fast, it continues to play for another 30 to 50 bars past where I wanted to stop or the end of the piece
I created a new percussion map for Finale 2006. I loaded it into one new file. Since then, it will NOT display. No matter how many times I say load file and even create new Percussion maps and hit load again, it will not see the file. One time I was able to get one of the copies of the perc
to notation. Anyone heard of it? I could try and download the
