I wanted to import a very legible, clean, crisp, 32-bar melody into Finale
2014, which I am testing in anticipation of upgrading from Finale 2008.

I have repeatedly tried to insert graphics that have been saved as
NON-compressed TIF files (originally MS Paint bitmaps, then converted to tiffs
in either Irfanview or MS Photo Editor).nbsp;
No matter what, I still get a message saying Finale doesn't support LZW
compressed graphics.nbsp; If
I've had the same problem in FinWin08. Not only did Finale crash, but I was
unable to load other apps. After several repeat performances, I uninstalled
and reinstalled Finale to no effect. I did a data check and was unable to find
any obvious evidence of corruption. So my solution was to

wrong, since I'd been looking for writers who died 75 or more years
ago. I found the following article online (easy to read) and am
quoting below what seems the most useful information:
I've had this problem a lot. You can grab as many measures as you want, then
go to Mass Edit, Note Spacing, and choose whichever spacing you like. I've had
to do this so many times that I finally made a kind of macro using TG Tools'
menu shortcuts. That too will save you lots of headaches.
I suggest you add a measure to the front of your file first (not
necessary, but a kind of failsafe place holder), then make sure you are
copying the entire stack of measures you want to insert. If you copy
just some of the notes or some of the systems or don't grab entire
measures, you won't get

taking all measures of 2/4 containing 2 quarters and converting them to
a dotted quarter plus an eighth?
If I try Mass Edit/Entry/Dot and Tie alterations, I get only
stylistic changes, not notational alterations.
I'd like to be able to enter notes in 12/8, then select a range of
measures, convert the entire range into triplets, then change the meter
to 4/4.
Is there any way to do this, or do I have to click on every third note
and create triplets manually?

Hyperscribe consistently crashes Finale if I try to input two or more
similtaneous notes (I am using the standard sustain pedal and an 88-key
Yamaha P-120). Hyperscribe consistently notates inaccurately if I
