I have spoken to the Author and his build system will not be changed

Shawn: It's in the package submission tracker
(http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detailaid=866872group_id=17203atid=414256).
Give a try, and let me know if it works for you so I can add it to the
10.3 tree.

With OS X it's quite easy to get Tomcat runnig, but I find troubles in

I ask if there are plans by some package mantainer to set up packages

Hi, I'm running Package manager version: 0.17.1, Distribution version:
0.6.2.cvs, on a G3 PowerBook running MacOSX 10.2.8.
I'm (finally) trying to update to this tree.
I have installed Apple's August2003 gcc updater.
I have done 'fink selfupdate-rsync' followed by fink selfupdate and

Hi Michael,
Yes, you can edit the fink.conf file. You have to check that
/sw/fink/dists points to 10.2-gcc3.3, too.
Another possibility is to run 'sudo /sw/lib/fink/postinstall.pl' which
should fix it, too.

Hi D.,
Thank you for your efforts. If I'm the only one interested in using
vsftpd (which is an excellent FTP server) then I can wait for the
author's next major release (hopefully it won't be too long). I'll
continue using vsftpd on Mandrake Linux for now and wait for it to be
added to Fink
Hi,
I've been unable to complete an update-all of kde using unstable under
10.3 for some time now. I've been watching the list and checked the
bugs and it appears no one else has this problem. It looks as if the
problem starts with libtool: link: cannot find the library

Hmm, actually, ncurses-dev is already a dependency. Do you get that
libncurses.la if you do a fink reinstall ncurses-dev?

Hi,
Does anyone know how I can get driftnet to work on OS X 10.3? Would be nice
to see someone port this to an OS X GUI app.
Here is a link for DriftNet:

Thanks,
