Hi Max, The best place to ask this is actually on the GMT mailing list.  Remko has the lead on packaging gmt 4 5.  I just rebuilt with xcode 5.0.2 and it works for me.  I also just updated to xcode 5.1 and it also works building gmt5 ( 5.1.1.-1 ) on 10.9.  You did not report which Mac OSX

Hi, I have problems installing llvm-gcc42-shlibs on OSX 10.9.2. To my best knowledge, Xcode and command line tools are up to date and I ran selfupdate. There is no clear error message. Here I copy the few lines closest to the first message containing “error” I can find (and then continue the

Max, I can see in your logs that you are using /sw for your fink.  Your error log says that it is having a hard time with omp.h mdfind omp.h | grep omp.h /sw/share/doc/vampirtrace/omp.h   - from openmpi, and not going to influence any build

Hi Max and Kurt I think cmake gets to this error because the gshhg package is not installed. I don’t know how that can happen, because gmt5 requires gshhg. The only thing I can think off is that it was removed manually (not through fink). Max, can you please run: $ fink reinstall gshhg and

Hi Remko and Kurt, Thanks for your help! I tried updating to the latest XCode and command line tools and the problem persists. I am using OS X 10.9.2. I have gshhg installed and also ran 'fink reinstall gshhg' as suggested. It looks like there is still a cmake error related to finding gshhg.
