To the best of my knowledge, there is no keyboard mapping file for the
Griffin PowerMate nor is there any reference to one in the Quick Start
Guide. I have searched the old web site for anything related to The

Does PowerSDR have to be the active application (that is, the
foreground app with focus) for these devices to send keystroke sequences
to PowerSDR? Or, can another program (like

The short answer is yes (PowerSDR has to be focused in order to handle
keyboard events). The longer answer is that there are workarounds
including
a tool that our own Sami OH2BFO wrote that can work around this (search
for
HotWheel).

Peter,
The Griffin PowerMate simply injects characters into the keyboard stream, the
same as if you typed them using the keyboard. Therefore, the characters go to
the active window, the one with the focus. I assume that the ShuttlePro would
work the same way.

I forgot to add in my previous post: I use N1MM Logger along with PowerSDR.
N1MM continuously grabs the focus. However, it also has shortcut keystrokes to
control frequency, etc, similar to PowerSDR (although the keystrokes are
