Joe I use the Griffin First the knob is not free spinning. Second the driver for the Griffin is not locked to PowerSDR. That means that you have to switch to the PowerSDR screen so that it is the active screen to use the knob. Normally I use my mouse to QSY quickly and use the Griffin to fine

One other thing to add to what Brian sent, the output may drop at the lower voltages for the same current draw, simple Ohm's Law..But it will work just fine at reduced voltages , just slightly lower output. Welcome to the group. Most of us are pretty decent folks .. :-) 73,
