compile FlightGear on SuSE 7.2. Please excuse what is probably a dumb
predicament.
I got the out-of-date version of FlightGear that
came with SuSE to run properly by running SaX2 to Load 3D modules (RPM packages
NVIDIA_GLX and NVIDIA_kernel). The out-of-date
checking for gluLookedAt in -lGLU... (cached) no
checking for gluLookedAt in -lMesaGlu... (cached) no
checking for glutGetModifiers in -lfreeglut... (cached) no
checking for glutGetModifiers in -lglut... (cached) no
It's possible that those are static on SUSE, so aren't installed
if
I've added some detail to my DC-3 model and reduced the number of
polys in individual parts. Here's a picture of the DC-3 on downwind
past CYSH (Smith Falls, Ontario):

I've added the VRML model to the base package, so it will show up

I found a problem on Linux when the sound card is not working.
FGSoungMgr don't get the status of the newly created slScheduler and
trap on setMaxConcurrent.
I propose the following patch that solve the problem for me :
