Ok, I'm sorry to extend a very off-topic discussion, but here I go anyway...
This one is a little lost on me. I understand why quoting whole
messages, and using HTML or
various encoding schemes can
? E.g. when a property is changed at one end it is updated
at the other end as well. Do you think that this could be done
efficiently? Has anyone written code to do it?
Thanks,

u_n : Control output (u_n = v_n except in saturation, when it equals
u_max or u_min)
s_n : saturation (s_n = u_n - v_n)
Then the integral contribution would be I = Ki*e_n + Ks*s_n (Ks
defines how tightly windup is controlled).

Ahh... nevermind. I found the issue by looking at the f16.ac model. And for my
fellow FGFS novices: Take a look at the SURF parameter in the .ac file. If it's
SURF 0x00 the sufaces are faceted. SURF 0x10 will give you a smoother looking
model.

P.S. Did not have fg0.7.8 installed on this hard drive, new install, but did
try to install a RPM package for fg0.7.9 but the SimGear RPM was not right so
I am giving the tar
the time to work on the models. I don't think the instruction
are 100% for version 0.7.8.

Hi,
I have been working on a 3d model for the DC3. You can check it out on my web
page. Sorry, not too far along with it. The only reason I picked the DC3 was
that I had some outline drawings of it. But I think the drawings are for a
C-47 and a model (RC) C-47 at that. Oh well.

What modeling utility are you using?
AC3D
Can you convert apropiatelly 3ds models to ac models and generate the
texture files?
I could try. AC3D is new to me but so is FlightGear and even Linux.
Anyway, I will sent to you this model, and see if can do something.
Martin.

I also have built some 3ds models. It
would be nice if the web page had a 3D model repository with a little

In regards to the fgfs.log:
I also have just started to learn how to place static 3d objects in
FlightGear and have the same kind of problem (I think). After following the
instruction in FAQ 6.5 I get the fgfs.log file but no where in this file is
the reference to loading tile.
