Consolidating everything to a single Scenery directory works even better in my opinion -- in my case, c:\Program Files\Flightgear\data\Scenery, and in this folder are the Terrain and Objects subfolders for the entire world (well, okay, just the continental US and all of Europe). It makes it muc

[Flightgear-users] Accessing World Scenery

I have downloaded scenery for the 10x10 region where I live, and have moved w090n30.tgz to C:\ProgramFiles\FlightGear\data\WorldScenery\Terrain in accordance with the manual instructions, but I am unable to access that area when I get into FlightGear. What am I leaving out? Allen -
