It baffles me.. why one would feel that they need/want/deserve/feel
in-titled to the fluxus label on their work or selves.
I wouldn't consider the things that I make and do to be Fluxus, rather
I might note that my inspiration and theory is sometimes derived from
fluxus or more accurately

Process DVD Exchange Call for Proposals
Process is a DVD exchange in which 9 artists create a limited edition of 10
DVDs. I will provide the DVD cases so that they will be universal as well as
make 10 boxes for each set.
Artist will be responsible for creating 10 DVDs and printing inserts

week 3 up in smoke. i got the inspiration from a video artist named peter
campus. i found a photo of one of his pieces in the book Video Art which i
would reccomend for anyone interested in video.

on the campus of UNC- Chapel Hill

performed
including works by Dick Higgins, George Macuinus, Yoko Ono

where would fluxus be today with out academia?
am i wrong to say/think that fluxus is tied to academia?
