When I run FOP, I get the following error...
Invalid byte 2 of 2 byte UTF-8 sequence
...followed by an extensive trace.
I have a pretty clear idea of what it mean but not what to do about it!!
The following problems spring to mind...
* What file is the invalid sequence in? Is it my xml
I guess your target-system is linux or unix ? maybe there are some problems
between writing (xsl-file) on windows and execute on linux/unix (with
whitespaces, linebreaks ?)

I have been looking at using Open Office as a crude XML editor for people
used to Wordprocessors. It generates a bunch of XML files all zipped up.
Anyway the XML generated has some fields which look surprisingly like FO.

Why not use iText? It's an LPGL'd (GPL'd? I forget) library that models
the PDF spec in Java. Save yourself some time.

FOP. Sometimes, when i create pdf docs, there are some blocks that fit exactly at
the end of the document and thus generating a new blank page (that i dont
want it to be created). Well, I have tried this not to happen with no success. So,
