I have this problem! My posts has no answer...
When I set View\Show OEM chers and Format\OEM PsPad display char like 0201
exactly but when I save the file, in the file there is + instead of upper left
angle (the ASCII 0201)!

Hi, it seems to me, that this automatic replacement can depend on the encoding
set; if I save your sample in ANSI format, it is corrupted, when I open it form
disk; saving it as utf-8 seems to preserve all the box drawing characters.

Unfortunately PSPad doesn't support all system codepages yet.

I don't know the codepage.
Code page on status bar is OEM (DOS).
201 is the ASCII code.
When in pspad you can press ALT GR and with the numeric pag 201. You'll see the
upper left double corner but when you save the file... you'll find the + char in
the file.

If you are trying to open a .txt file and having problems, something is wrong
with your setup. That's a no-brainer for PSPad.
