If you are using transparency in Illustrator, I would save your graphics out as either EPS or PDF 1.3 for FrameMaker. EPS and PDF 1.3 do not support transparency, so the art will be flattened. As long as you use the default settings, it will include the original AI file, so you can open the file

I had a power failure last night and my PC shut down (FM 7.1 Win XP). When I restarted, my book was locked as were all of the component files. I chose to reset the lock on all of them, except for one, which I must have fat fingered when presented the option. Now every time I update my book,

The quality of the HTML is probably okay. I didn't write it, and the person who did write it is no longer here. However, he used FrontPage to write in the first place. Since then, there have been a handful of manual edits to the HTML, but the quality should be pretty typical for

Hi Adam, Since you can produce MIF from a FrameMaker file, a good approach might be to convert the HTML files to FrameMaker. Depending on the complexity of the HTML markup, it may be feasible to do this with FrameScript. If you want to investigate this further, please contact me offlist.
