The doc says, "Press Esc Shift+f l (lowercase L) k."
This is standard style for FrameMaker shortcuts. The "(lowercase)" is
there because you can't tell l (lowercase L) from I (uppercase i) in
most or all of the fonts users might be reading that in.

I am running Frame 10.0.1.402 on Windows 7. Somehow, I have put a number of the
chapters in a book into View-only mode. I tried the Esc Shift+flk key sequence
but it has no effect (surprise, surprise). Can anyone help me out? I am not
sure how these files got into this state. I need to get them

everything restored in workable fashion, except for one chapter file,
which is now opening as view only, no matter what we do. We checked attrib
and it's not set to read-only. It's like it was locked for editing when
the archive was created, but we don't know for sure; that's just
in the rather untenable position of having to find a
way to get an editable version of an FM file from the view-only version of
it, with no record of a .lck file for it and no other version of the FM
file available. The view-only version has conditional text hidden that we
now need to show

7.2. Choose View Formatting Bar and click the icon that has the white page
and blue ribbon.
