I was using Windows 7 and accessing my work desktop and files through
Remote Desktop. I have no idea if one of those caused Frame 9 to freak
out, but I've never seen this kind of file corruption before and it
borders on the bizarre.

A point of clarification here
The XP mode that Linda is referring to is an ability of some newer computers
and W7 to run virtual sessions for XP applications. This requires both
newish hardware to support the virtual mode and W7 virtualization software.
This is unlikely to be needed by Susan,

I'm not going to absolve FM9 here, but when those kind of weird things
happen, it's also worth looking at glitches in the OS.

I'm not sure how to report this, but Frame 9 just crashed on me when I
had two files open (named About Blah and Configuring Blah), and when I
re-opened both files, they were exactly the same. That means, I totally
lost all the text in one of the files. I'm using Frame 9 on Windows 7

Hello. I have a tiny problem that is driving me nuts. I received a Word
file and copy and pasted the text into FrameMaker (6.0p405 on Win XP) as
