I'll bet that this works fine in FM8 but with the UI change in FM9 the dialog

"Nobody" is a bit strong. I can print a book to PS from FM11 without
trouble. When I try to print an earlier version FM book to PS, nothing

It does appear that there are a number of print to PS/PDF issues

No .. I'm pretty sure that the only way to know if it's "in use" is to
scan the entire file for the ColorTag value.
The ColorIsReserved, means that it's "reserved" by FM (a core color,
perhaps, which can't be deleted).
I'm just guessing though. The FDK reference may have more info. I can

This supports FM 2015 and adds a few new features, including the ability

No conversion. Just "install" the structured application you're using on FM9
into FM11. Then you should be able to open the XML files.
Should be able to copy the app files to FM11 in a similar location to where
they are in FM9. Then copy the structure app definition from FM9 to FM11.

Hi Andrey...
You may have better luck asking this question on the framemaker-dita
Yahoo list. Also, providing a bit more information would probably help
as well (in particular, your FM version and OT version).
It's very possible that the OT build scripts have changed enough that
the FM
hing to do. The way this used to work was to open a DITA map
in FM, then run the "build" command on that file. If you're prompted to
select a file, be sure to choose a valid ditamap file.
Good luck,

I've got one set of ExtendScript functions that operate on structured
content. It's pretty simplistic may not be anything more than what
you've got already ..

Hi Monique...
*If* you're working with DITA and *if* you're using DITA-FMx .. you're
in luck! FMx has an option to do just that (as well as the same for
smart quotes). But I'm thinking that this doesn't help your current
situation. :o
My only remotely useful suggestion would be to create

I've got a plugin that adds these to pages in an automated fashion. But
this is designed for use with structured FM and XML. If that's of any
use, feel free to contact me off-list to discuss your needs.
