certain characters of CE/EE languages won't display or print in FrameMaker
using regular CE/EE fonts. I am interested in work arounds or (commercial

I am trying to create a XSLT template to transform uncode characters to ansii
on import of XML in FM. This concerns the unicode characters for CE/EE
languages that can not be read by FM.
As I don't have any experience with XSLT, could anyone point me in the right
direction?

when FM saves an XML file, it writes the graphics as entitys in the
header of the XML.
Can this be changed - to keep the graphic references in the XML body?
Problem is, that we want to use some XSLT to preprocess or postprocess
the XML files and it seems to be impossible to keep the

we have Pagemaker files (no, we can't use InDesign nor convert them)
that need to be printed. The pages use some tiff-files. When printing,
or saving as pdf, the images remain low resolution, as if PM uses the
previeuw in stead of the image it self.

When printing a book to separate pdf files (one pdf for each file in
book) FM adds the book name before the file name: xxbook(file1 etc.
