Slightly off topic, but I made a product that manages variables on the web.
You have a PHP web app running on your web server, and then Maker interfaces
with it directly. The variable definitions are extracted out of the document

I inherited this project and it'll take me a while to figure out what
the correct variables are. In the meantime, I need to start updating
it for the next release, and I have to avoid accidentally causing
errors by overwriting inconsistently used variables.
I have SnagIt so that's an option.

Take a screen snapshot of each variable pod and compare them from the
snapshots. If you've got snagit, you can even use the scroll capture mode and
get the whole pod in one snapshot.
