Geoffrey,
The first method described here ("How to enter Unicode characters
in Microsoft Windows")

does work for me in FM8.
You probably need to set the registry key EnableHexNumpad as described.
If you don't know your unicode (hex) value
The Adobe Updater recognised that I didn't have the latest update.

Why is this? I have also set preferences so that the updater will check

Hi All,
Is it possible to locate the LinkEnd = Null values easily in FrameMaker?
I tried locating such values in the structure view by checking every XRef
element but it is very time consuming and sometimes doesn't even display the
values too, strange though.
Thanks and Regards,

Ken,
1. Convert the FM file to PDF, using settings that will not degrade the
embedded image.
2. Extract the page with the target image into a separate PDF.
3. Import the PDF with the target image into any graphic program that
can read PDF, such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Designer.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi all,
is there a way to cross out a cell diagonally in a table, and enter two
different headers in the cell (one for the column that goes downwards from the
cell, the other one for the row going rightwards from the cell)?
Thank you!
Mathieu.

If you want it to be editable, you can use two tags, one set flush
left and the other on the lower, second line, set flush right.

The context with the box is how i want the image to be. where the icon is
aligned in the middle of the line. I'm manually resizing the anchored frame
to acheive this.

Hi John,
Easiest thing would be to go to FM's help and either do a search on paragraph
numbering or scroll through the ToC. The help actually does in this case.
There are lots of examples of how numbering can be achieved.
Then if you need help in a specific kind of sense, then I am certain there
