Thanks to all who contributed suggestions to me regarding the problem I had with page numbers for a TOC I was producing. The problem was that no matter what I did, a preceding hyphen (dash, whatever) appeared with the numerical page number digit. Apparently, the problem was caused by a glitch.

Hi Rich, Perhaps I did misunderstand you. Before posting my original request for help last week, I, of course, made sure that no chapter number was to be included in the footer and then checked the master page and footer of the TOC-in-progress. And yes, there was NO chapter number but there

Usually you can configure screen capture program shortcut keys so that they don't interfere with another program. I don't use SnagIt, but my freebie MWSnap supports reconfigured shortcuts. SnagIt's pretty highly regarded, so I would think it would support it too. -Original Message-

Corrine, I use FM9 and SnagIt together all the time and don't have any problems with shortcut keys. You might want to look at the Windows SnipIt tool which is very similar tool that comes with Vista and XP. (It does have its limitations, but overall, probably will get you what you need.) You
