Well it's just been confirmed by Le Monde that Chris Marker has died.
I never got to meet the man but was a big fan of his films esp sans-soliel!
Was only the other day someone said it was his birthday and that he was 91! I
was shouting Yay for Chris Marker!

bad we did not have those in
film school, the early 80s... That kind of camera plus NY No Wave frame of mind
would have produced a lot of great toxicsludge and eye candy.

be A4 as is the standard, or A3 for larger works at a push!
Anything else and it's just going to be incompatible with the photocopiers!

the patents seems a bit like selling the family silver. I
get the impression the guy running the place is just trying to stretch things
out as long as he can so he can keep getting paid which is not a great business
strategy for the future.
