All it outputs is a loud hum. Robert films told me that the amp is shorted out; that it's a common issue with elmo's and the only solution is replacement of the amp, which (if you can find one) is about $600. Needless to say, I left it as is. Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone on the Rogers
