Hello,
I'm trying compile a complete list of the Filmmakers Filming monographs that
were published by Film in the Cities from 1979 - 1981. I am missing the 10th in
the series; does anyone know who #10 was? Below is what I have so far. Any
insight would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Emily

There are great photos of it under construction in the sculptor's place in
France. Does he want historical images?

No, she's looking for images of it in New York's harbor, from

Emily,
I don't know the answer. I guessed Carolee Schneemann, but couldn't
find any evidence to verify my this so I suspect I am wrong.
I would suggest contacting the Walker Art Center LIbrary directly.

Chris Langdon's film work (1973-76) is crucial in this regard - it was a very
concerted attempt on her part to bring aspects of supposedly lowbrow culture
and humor into the supposedly highbrow form of art/film. She even made
grindhouse-style trailers (about 8-10 total) for some of her films,
I've had work transfered on MovieStuff gear in both the SD and the HD versions.
A friend had a small transfer business with an SD Workprinter it gave great
results and was very easy to use on a Mac. At one point we were transfering at
his house and his computer went down. We were able to
Hi Frameworks,
I'm looking for advice on recording a long distance interview. I originally
thought I could do it in person with my Zoom recorder but the subject's work
plans changed and will not be coming out from the East coast anymore.
There are various ways to chat over the internet but I
I have done cross-country interviews before, and I feel your best possible
quality option is to have someone on the other end show up and mic/shoot
the subject while you speak to them on the telephone/skype/etc.
Also there is in fact an iphone app to record a conversation, although I am
not sure
Hi all,
Just confirmed with Kodak today that they're discontinuing production of sound
recording stock 3378 (for making track negatives) in 35/32mm. They have enough
stock left for about 1-1.5 years, based on past sales numbers. 35mm and
regular 16mm gauges will remain available.
While this

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a shop in Southern California
that repairs Kodak 16mm projectors. Most of the places I've found out here
that service 16mm won't do any Kodak projectors.
The projector in question is a Kodak Optical Data Analyzer. Old, but was
working well until it

Why not just use Skype along with software like Wiretap (
http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/wiretap/), which records audio direct
from an application?

For one thing this Wiretap only records audio, not video. And the second
part; it is $69 bucks. You can do this with a free on a Mac with an
application called Soundflower that directs it to garageband for audio
record.
Windows, I have no idea.

Those are great.
Most of the caffenol work I've done so far has been cross processing

Thanks David the others,
Yes, I am only interested in audio, having video via Skype would be nice but
for this project I already have all the images I need.Sounds like investing in
a good headset and using the mention software with garage band would be the
simplest option.
Thank you!
