Arne Olav's created a yellow shader collection..
I loaded it..
It worked.
Shaders are loaded.
We now have access to the gpu .
It's limited yet.. only shader instructions.
But I think this is a break through.

The final version of king kong still has this shader directory,with a binary
inside, which contains several shaders.
It does not longer contain the .hsl file though, but looking inside the .bin
file, it looks like it is clearable reading there.

I think you got it wrong a bit:
- The XBOX cpu has no direct access to the DVD-ROM media.. it requires
asking the DVD-ROM Drive for any bit of information it wants..
- Asking this information is done using SATA
- The DVD-ROM Drive has it's own firmware... and it's own cpu
- Theoretically, w
Try to get access to a SATA analyzer.. this you could determine for example
what the different in accessing a DVD Recordable and a Pressed DVD. :)
Doing sow, would theoretically allow is to generate a "Flawwed" DVD-R & dvd
drive , by patching the firmware of the drive itself, or a different kind
Sorry that you had to travel so long. Remember, mediamarkt almere in The
Netherlands, still has a lot of controllers! They are not at the xbox360
location, but at the windows controllers area... somehow they messed up
things :-) they thought the "Wired xbox 360 control for windows" was no the
same
