I ran into this also, and a bit of fiddling with a debugger was
un-enlightening -- it was segfaulting on a write to
__collate_substitute_table in parse.y. The pointer to the table didn't
appear to be corrupted, and it should have been in writable memory. It
also appeared to be properly aligned.
