Broadcom GigE Adapter and IBM x335

Has anyone had any luck with the bge driver and the IBM x335? It has a Broadcom BCM5703 chip onboard, so I figured the bge driver would recognize it, but the boot floppies for 4.7-RELEASE fail to find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Herb McNew

Ok, please ignore my question. I'm still not 100% sure what happened, but somehow a version of aterm was left in /usr/local/bin/aterm from when I edited the Makefile and removed the entries for --enable-utmp and --enable-wtmp. That version seemed to be messing up screen, and I'm not sure why.
